Olive Oil Processing - Palestine

Topic: Fairtrade Organic Olive Oil Production

Client: Canaan Fair Trade

Synopsis: Canaan Fair Trade processes and exports olive oil and other delicacies produced by over 1,700 small farmers organized in collectives and represented by the Palestine Fair Trade Association (PFTA).

Our role: Canaan wanted to bottle their own olive oil and as well reach ISO 22000 compliance as an organic standard. For this, they needed supplementary funding to improve efficiency and storage of their processing facilities. DIBcoop developed a Private Sector Investment Programme (PSI) proposal to raise the necessary finance to set-up the facility.
